Placenta consumption is an ancient, cross-cultural tradition that is rapidly growing in popularity in the United States today.   Placenta encapsulation is the process of ingesting the placenta after it has been dehydrated, ground, and placed into pills (capsules).

While there is no inherent risk in placenta encapsulation, I feel that the highest standards should be followed in the collection, processing, and encapsulating of your placenta.  I am the only placenta encapsulator in San Antonio who has a medical degree.  I have a Master's in Nursing and I am trained in sterile technique, clean processes, bio-hazard handling, and the highest ethics and standards of care.  I use a designated dehydrator and a designated sink and processing station, so there is no concern of your placenta being compromised with routine cooking food and bacteria.

 

While many women may not feel comfortable with consuming raw placenta, many find encapsulation to be an easy way to consume their placenta without any mess or "yuck" factor.

I offer vegetarian capsules, as well as a number of Supplements to adjust your capsules to your specific postpartum needs.  The methods of encapsulation are structured to maximize the hormones and nutrients in your capsules.
